Siemens Building Technologies has added to its range of ball valves, and now offers a selection of internally and externally threaded valves from 15mm to 50mm. This means that Siemens now offers a complete range of ball valves, suitable for applications in cold- and hot-water systems.
As with the rest of the Acvatix range from Siemens, the products have been designed for robust performance and easy installation. The wide variety of ball valves now available in this range makes for easy selection and application.
The valves can be flexibly combined with the range of Siemens OpenAir damper actuators using specially-designed mounting kits.
The ball valves offer bayonet mount for assembly without tools, as well as a housing made of brass for a clean environment which also minimises friction loss. This means that installers can use actuators with lower torques – saving equipment and energy costs. The ball valves are completely water-tight which prevents costly circulation errors.
Siemens ball valves benefit from a high level of reliability and a long maintenance-free service life, which is due to manufacture from high quality materials.
